Neighborhood

Prime Foothills Location: Situated in one of the best neighborhoods in all of Southern Arizona; conveniently located near top dining, shopping at La Encantada, and the University of Arizona, allowing for quick access to all Tucson has to offer. Hiker's & Biker's Paradise: You are just minutes from the entrance to the iconic Sabino Canyon Recreation Area, a paradise for hiking, walking, and the scenic Sabino Canyon Crawler tram tours. Enjoy seamless access to the local trails, including the popular multi-use Urban Assault Trail which parallels Pontatoc Road, right from your doorstep. Golf Enthusiast's Dream: Stay within minutes of the distinguished La Paloma Country Club, the official home of the PGA TOUR Champions' Cologuard Classic tournament. The location is ideal for golf lovers and event attendees. Biking: You'll find excellent options for both mountain biking on natural-surface trails and paved-path cycling! Mountain Biking & Trail Riding: Urban Assault Trail( aka "Two Tunnels") - This is a locally known mountain bike trail that is a mix of singletrack and wider sections and travels through desert arroyos and washes, running behind neighborhood houses. It features hard-packed dirt, some rocky and loose spots, rolling hills, and a variety of desert flora like saguaro and mesquite cacti. Access - It can be accessed near East Pontatoc Drive and is considered an easy-to-moderate ride, great for beginners or a quick local spin. The best access is on Skyline, about a 1.4 mile easy road ride to the northernmost point of the trail. Note: The trail is largely an informal utility easement crossing private property, and riders should be respectful of neighbors and private land. Starr Pass Trail System - A popular area with a good mix of technical, chunky rock sections and smooth single-track, connecting to the larger Tucson Mountain Park network. This is a great spot for more challenging mountain biking. Sweetwater Preserve - This area offers well-marked, easy to moderate natural-surface trails with beautiful desert views, popular among both bikers and hikers. Paved Path Biking: Chuck Huckelberry Loop Trail - One of the top-rated recreational trails in the US, this is a 137-mile system of paved, shared-use paths that is completely isolated from cars for most sections. You can easily access "The Loop" by connecting from local roads or nearby trail systems (such as via the Rillito River path) for unlimited road cycling opportunities and the option for very long, safe rides. This is ideal for road bikes, e-bikes, or a casual, safe family ride.
